The Zacon Balanced Personnel Door utilizes the same patented "Balanced System" found in our larger Balanced Ventilation Doors. By dividing the door into two halves that swing in opposite directions, static air pressures and ramp slopes are disregarded.
The force exerted on one section of the door when opening against air pressure is counteracted by the opposing section moving with the air flow. As a result, our personnel doors can be effortlessly opened even in high-pressure environments.

BPD Manufacturing
To enhance safety further and prevent pinch areas, our Balanced Personnel Doors are accessible with a stretcher. The standard door clearance of 3 feet wide by 7 feet high, open to ground level, minimizes tripping hazards. Custom sizes are also available upon request, eliminating the need for squeezing through tight spaces.
